Plowshares Crafts Fair & Festival

Hosted by the Syracuse Peace Council at the Science & Industry Building, NYS Fairgrounds.

Saturday December 4th, 10 am to 5 pm

Sunday December 5th, 10 am to 4:30 pm

Admission $2-$5 (sliding scale).  Under 12 free.

Mast required.  Volunteers needed.

St. Lucy's Christmas Program

Setup is Friday, December 3rd 9:00 am - noon.

Give-away is Saturday, December 4th 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Per CDC recommendations, parishioners are asked to wear a mask at church,

Bible Study

Updating the Parish Registry, Envelope Use

Mary Fitzgerald, our new parish office manager, is updating her list of parishioners getting envelopes sent to them.  So if you either want to discontinue getting the envelops or would like to start having them sent to you, call the rectory or email your request to info@saintlucys.org.

Also, please contact Mary if you are not sure whether you are officially enrolled as a parishioner, as the Diocese would like an accurate parish count.

Hope Appeal 2021

Our annual Hope Appeal Campaign is underway.  You can find donor pledge cards in the pews with all the information you need.  Thank you for whatever support you can give. 

The goal for St. Lucy's is $21,269.

Mark Your Calendar

DIOCESAN LISTENING SESSIONS are scheduled to begin next calendar year.

Please plan on attending the Session at All Saints on January 6th.  The Diocese website has information regarding other sessions if you might be interested.

Can You Help?

Kip Hargrave is looking for some help (2 to 3 hours a week) in moving furniture at the Catholic Charities warehouse off Ainsley Drive.  Contact Kip at 315-382-6442.

Agape & Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is back in operation.  Volunteers still needed. The Pantry is in need of cans of soup, chili, spaghetti-os, etc.  You can leave them in the church welcoming area.

The Agape Shop will be open to the public starting December 1st.  

The Shop gladly accepts: Clothing, shoes & boots (women's, men's, children's). Bedding (no pillows), curtains (no drapes), linens and towels.  Flatware, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, etc.  Small table lamps and small appliances. Games, puzzles and toys (with all parts and batteries).

The Shop cannot accept: Any electrics, sports or exercise equipment, medical equipment, tools, liquid items, cribs or mattresses, furniture.

Annual Craft Show

November 1st - end of December at Upstate Sewing & Vacuum on 2628 Erie Blvd between Midler and Thompson Rd.  The crafts are sponsored by Peg Barnett.  Proceeds will go to our Sister Community in Nicaragua.
